Premiered: Riverside Dance Festival, NYC

39 Chinese Attitudes was first performed as a solo by Nancy Lewis on Remy Charlip’s concert at Dance Theater Workshop in 1980. This is the first group version of this score that consists of Chinese paper cut-outs, historic photographs of dancers, and sports photos. An attitude is followed by a jump followed by a fall.
