Our dance-based show, with award-winning works by choreographer H.T. Chen, has been cited by educators as “the field trip of the year”. Eight Strokes & the Moving Word Series draws from the company’s rich cultural heritage and dynamic repertory to reveal the culture and history of Asians in America. Through dance and calligraphy, the students are shown the stories and meaning behind the words and dances.
