Tsubasa Nishioka was born in Japan where he started classical ballet training with Atsuko Yamada, modern dance, then contemporary dance with Fumihito Shimizu. Through competitions he has placed 1st in Chiba Selected Junior and New Comer Performance for both sections; 3rd in both the Saitama and Sendai Dance Competitions; 2nd place in the NBA National Ballet Competition. He was a soloist for “Water Flow” choreographed by Fumihito Shimizu in Japan and the USA. Tsubasa was accepted into The Ailey School program from 2017-19. He performed “Battlefield” choreographed by Robert Battle and Elisa Clark in Ailey Sprit Gala 2018 with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at Lincoln Center. Previously he has worked with NBA Ballet Dance Company in Japan, and choreographers such as Jiemin Yang, Matthew Westerby, Winston Brown, Manuel Vignoulle, Mitzi Adams, Darshan Bhuller, Omar Roman de Jesus and Marcus Jarrell Wills. Currently Tsubasa is a member of H.T. Chen & Dancers, i KADA Dance Company, AP Dance, Valerie Green Dance Entropy and J CHEN PROJCT.

Renouard first performed and toured with H.T. Chen & Dancers in 1988, and was a lead dancer with the company for over a decade.
