About the Performance

Premiered: The Joyce Theater, NYC

Weavings is a folksy dance celebrating friendship and the exuberance of youth. The commissioned score and premiere of Weavings was supported through the Meet Composer Program and the Mary Flagler Cary Charitable Trust ’ Live Music for Dance Program. This dance was funded, in part, by the 1999 Altogether Different Fund for New Works sponsored by The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc., with major support from the New York State Council on the Arts and friends of H.T. Dance Company, Inc.
