On October 6, 2009 H.T. Chen was honored to accept the Mayor’s Award for Arts and Culture at a ceremony that was entertaining and delightful. Mayor Michael Bloomberg hosted the celebration and performed with the master of ceremonies, John Stamos.

Company Residency at The Yard

H.T. Chen & Dancers was honored to be in residence at The Yard on Martha’s Vineyard, MA, from June 6 - 26, 2011. The company presented performances, daily classes, outreach into the community, and developed a new company work titled Song of the Stone.

Blossoming Corner at CDC

Chen Dance Center is abloom this month! Thanks to members from the Harvard Asian-American Association and the Harvard Alumni Association, the gardens along Mulberry and Bayard Streets were revived on Earth Day through their volunteer work
